As the sole provider of language services to Local Authorities across the UK specialising in areas such as child support services, refugee centres and housing services, our work has a significant impact on the lives of our service users.

As a non-profit ethically-driven employee mutual, The Language Shop (tls) shares the values of the charities we work with including some of the UK’s biggest third sector organisations. Our interpreters draw on their experience in difficult NHS and Local Authority settings to support a range of organisations, including those working in immigration and refuge, homelessness and poverty.

Face-to-face interpreting for parents evenings, disciplinary hearings, SEN assessments, school trips, Ofsted inspections and other scheduled meetings/events
24/7/365 on-demand remote telephone interpreting sessions connected within 5 minutes
Translation of documents such as consent forms and safeguarding policies to support with Ofsted compliance
British Sign Language interpreting
