Despite the challenges brought about by the current coronavirus pandemic, face-to-face interpreting remains popular and in some cases is the preferred if not the only option. For example, with mental health patients, it may be that an initial face-to-face meeting is held to build trust and confidence before moving to a video or on-demand video service.
